After making a list of actors who passed away from a diversity of causes and at the most various ages, a list that seemed to never end, it is time to remember other famous people that, in a way or another, touched our lives. Among them – Steve Jobs, Dan Wheldon and Amy Winehouse.
Amy Winehouse – unknown causes. The U.K. jazz diva passed away at her home, at the young age of 27. Even though it is suspected that she died from an overdose or a mix of pills and alcohol, no official cause has been reported. Her parents and boyfriend suspect that the sudden withdraw of alcohol might have caused her death, as well.
Heavy D – unknown causes. On his real name Dwight Arrington Myers, the rapper passed away on November 8, just one hour after being rushed to the hospital for what appeared to be a stroke. After collapsing in the hall of the building he was living in, the neighbors called the ambulance and when the paramedics came, he was still conscious and talking, but accusing shortness of breath.
Andy Rooney – surgery complications. The famous TV presenter passed away shortly after announcing his retirement from the “60 Minutes” show. He died from complications to a surgery, just three days after being off the air.
Dan Wheldon – car crash. The 33-year-old Indie car driver died in an accident during the Las Vegas Indy 300. On Lap 13, his car went on top of another one, causing 15 vehicles to collide. He was severely injured and could not be helped.
Steve Jobs – pancreatic cancer. The brain behind Apple Inc. lost the battle with cancer on October 5. He was only 56 years old. A few weeks before his death, he stepped down from the CEO position. His passing left millions of Apple fans heartbroken.
